DSP Compatibility Notice
This amplifier is intended only for vehicles equipped with the factory BMW DSP sound system. It is not automatically compatible with every E38, E39, or E53.

Supersession does not guarantee plug-and-play operation in every vehicle. The amplifier may require coding for the specific chassis, body style, speaker configuration, and installed equipment.
Coding and Installation
Professional installation is recommended.
This amplifier may need to be coded to the receiving vehicle using BMW-compatible diagnostic equipment. Coding can be particularly important when transferring an amplifier between an E38, E39, and E53 or between vehicles with different speaker and body configurations.
Possible installation requirements include:
- Coding the amplifier to the vehicle
- Matching the DSP configuration
- Clearing stored audio-system faults

Important Water-Damage Notice
